Dancing and singing in the street, while listening to my ipod, sometimes, just the creation of my own vocals, enJOYing the moment of MY NOW.

I LOVE MUSIC!!!!!
LOVE IT!
There is simply nothing as powerfull, I have found for SELF, to be so smoothly and naturally lifted into TRUTH of ME, PeaceFull LOVing Serenity, than the sweet uplifting melodies of a songs vibrational harmony!!!

I must admit, I do tend to feel more comfortable BEing ME, in such complete freedom from brainwashed, instilled, for centuries, enslaving judgment, when I’m in the company of our BEautiFull dog Shaman, or my son Zion, or my Starry Soul Sister, Aline, though I AM growing “stronger”, more TRUTHFULL in SELF LOVE.

Okay so here’s the thing. I’m dancing in my back alley way, listening to my ipod, playing with Shaman Jhanu, our BEautiFull Gentle Wise Dog, and I see someone.
I haven’t been out for very long, so I haven’t acclimatized myself as yet, to the freedom of BEing ME, I’m just beginning to allow my body the freedom to move naturally to the flow of the rhythm in my ears.
I realize, am able to see objectively, like watching me from across the street, in my mind, visualizing the physical manifestation of my SELF Choosing to Act in FEAR.

“What”, I question, “are you so afraid of?”

And realize, the fear is the part of me, which thankfully, I do NOT give in to :), that is afraid of how someone else may perceive my free flowing LOVE BEingness, so openly in public.
As though, their BEing there is really going to interfere with my experience, as it is MY EXPERIENCE.
I’m all the way over here, in my own little world, having my own experience, playing with my dog, listening to great tunes on my ipod and singing and dancing away. My tribute to ME, Daily!!!

No matter how much struggle is perceived, as we walk from one bridge to the next, we DO reach the next, ALLways!!
We are HERE!
WE ARE!

Yes, so back to the experience of my particular dancing in the street NOW…..
I realize that our INITIAL REACTION to others, is to ALLOW their perception of US to out rule, weight more, mean more, Become OUR TRUTH, and forget about our TRUTH, altogether!!

We FEAR they may judge us, they may think something negative about me, “what”,  is of no importance!!! The mere thought of another perceiving me as negative, is so instantaneous, I have to track backwards, from the FEELING of the FEAR to its origin to discover it!!

But the TRUTH is, I dance and sing in pubic because that allows me to declare openly, without FEAR, that I know the POWER of my WILL, I take responsibility for the experience of ME, in my every NOW, and I CHOOSE to BE HAPPY and FREE, I ChOOSE to Experience Life, in Gratitude and Appreciation for each circumstance of my BEingness. In every NOW, there is Something Positive to latch onto!!!
We have been taught to NOT listen to SELF, that BEing even LOVE to SELF is an act of disgrace and dishonour.
We worry so much about what is out there, how we will fit in out there, what they will think, out there, that we forget about actually BEing the experience of Right Here.

I know life can be hard, TRUST ME, please, I know! BUT, WE CHOOSE HOW to EXPERIENCE ALL times, experiences, situations, the good, bad, happy, sad, ALL, and thus define each as a result.
Is it a “bad” time or a “growing” time?
Is it “slow”, or is it “transcending?”
Is this a “rut” or “the most direct” way there?

How we experience our experiences are of OUR CHOOSING. It’s how we feel about something. How we feel about something is how we allow our selves to think about something, perceive it, interpret it, MAKE IT WHAT IT MEANS to US!
This is OUR POWER!
OUR FREE WILL!

Now, IF YOU ARE following YOUr FREE WILL THROUGH, OF, FOR, WITH LOVE, how can you possibly BE DOing anything other than that which is BEauty and Grace, unto ALL, blessed the Gift of it’s, YOUr experience?

So, that is the KEY!!
It’s not simply “DO UNTO THY WILL”, but,
“DO UNTO THY WILL THROUGH, OF, FOR, WITH,
LOVE.”

When YOU find YOUr SELF DOing something, ANYthing, ask YOUr SELF “WHY?”
Am I feeling positive about this, is there any negativity?
IF there is, “WHY?”
What in TRUTH are You so afraid of?
Will it TRUEly have any physically manifested effects on YOU or YOUr life?
Like someone watching me Honour SELF and allow SELF the FREEdom to BE, in LOVE & BEauty, through the fantabulous unifying vibration of Music :O)

Know WHY YOU HAVE CHOSEN to BE where YOU are.
See YOUr Power
Take Responsibility

During our first trip to Kauai, Mark, Destin (our then 8 year old son) and I had an EXTRAordinary experience on the beach one day. We had our first encounter with an endangered species called, Hawaiian Monk Seals. The seals love to warm themselves in the afternoon sun on the sun-drenched sand. They haul themselves up out of the ocean to nap for hours on end. They’re huge, resembling black lava rocks from a distance. They appear motionless…sleeping and enjoying the comfort of a warm bed.

Because they are an endangered species, special care is taken to keep them from harm while they rest. Seal Volunteers erect a make shift private nap area for them with yellow ropes and some “keep out–seals are napping” posts with signage explaining the species.

This particular day these two very young, recently weened seals were sunning themselves. They apparently warrented quite a lot of attention and some marine biologists were there to do some tests and tagging. This seemed to stress the seals very much and Destin and I decided we would keep vigil with the seals, sending them comfort, love and protection energy until the testing was complete. While we sat and held space for the seals I received a messaage from them.

The seals asked me to write a children’s book sharing their message. Years later, while living on Kauai we turned my book into a musical play and our homeschool group performed the play around the island sharing the Message of Sonora and Ipshu, Two Amazing Hawaiian Monk Seals!

Here is an excerpt from the book detailing the heart of the message I received:

“…My sister and I were amazed; we continued to listen with all our hearts as the seals continued to talk with us. They said, “Our hope is that one day we will not need our “special guest” ropes any more. We dream of a time when all beings trust as we trust. We believe this can happen if we just pay attention to a few simple things. Here is what we ask of the people kingdom.” “Would you be awake in the choices you make? Would you do things because you’ve thought them through and you’ve thought about how each living thing may be affected by you? Would you treat all others as if they were your brothers? Would you love freely…could you do that, really? Would you give without needing to get? Oh, that would be awesome, just awesome, we bet! Would you give up all fear and stand up tall? Would you know that you’re never alone, no never at all? When you look in my eyes, could you see yourself? Would you know that we’re partners in all that we’re dealt?”

“This is a message to our friends in the people kingdom. We are love. We come from love. We’ve come to show you love. You are love. You come from love. You come to show us love. We are love. We are one.” “You understand us. You know what we need. You feel us in you heart; your heart we will feed. You hear us! Thank you for hearing us. Thank you for listening and paying attention. Thank you for loving us; this deserves honorable mention!”

My sister and I could not believe our ears! What a great message; we’d have to be sure to remember all of it so that we could share it with the world. We sent love from our hearts to the seals and thanked them for sharing with us. As we did we heard them tell us just a little bit more. “This day on the beach getting to know you was fun. We’re glad you’ve gotten to know us; now we know we’re all one! Please laugh with us, snooze with us, feel the warmth of the sun! Please feel with us, learn with us and tell everyone!…”

During the writing of the book we were in the process of adopting our daughter, Alea from Kazakhstan. As a way to connect with Alea and the children at the orphanage during the months prior to the adoption we hired an art teacher to go into the orphanage to create pictures for my book. We had the story translated into Russian and offered guidelines for the artful pages. The children LOVED the project and each week we’d receive another envelope filled with bright, energetic paintings to be included in the book. The children has never seen seals before, much less say beaches, tropical mountains, oceans, etc. This project opened a whole new world to the children…and a bond between us and our new daughter. The pictures included in this post are just two of the lovely images that await gracing the pages of my book.

“Sonora and Ipshu“ has yet to be published…the message is timeless, and yet perfectly timely. I welcome any publishing leads or suggestions. :0)

Fit to BE, YOU!

Whilst upon this Earth School we are via our physical vessels or bodies.
WE, as in the “I” in “YOU”, is not merely that which is the physical representation of YOU, but the MIND of YOU.
Without your arm or leg, you are still you, n’est ce pas?
HOWEVER, how we feel, think, and act towards our physical selves, affects our inner or TRUE SELF, drastically and COMPLETELY!!!
When you feel great about how you look, you feel great about YOU!

Fantabulously enough, our physical self affects our inner self just as drastically and completely.
When we look in the mirror and see a healthy body, when we are able to run, swim, jump and play, we feel GREAT to BE!

We are ONE and thus must show as much respect, honour, and love for our body’s as we do our selves, for our BEingness WHOLE, body, mind and soul

BEing ‘fit’ comes in many shapes, sizes, and physical abilities. For some, running a 25k marathon is for others, a walk in the park.

The main intention is to GET PHYSICAL! Use the BEautiFull vessel that has given You the greatest gift, LIFE, here upon the Earth School, to BE the best vessel it and YOU can possibly BE.

The body, like any finely tuned machine, needs to be used, it needs to be active, to function at its optimal prime.
If you don’t use one arm for an entire day, that arm will seem much heavier and more difficult to manouver, than your arm that was used.
A car that is not driven will have a harder time starting than one that is used every day.

In addition to making use of your tools, one must, as we do with our car’s regular oil changes, ensure we are doing all we can to provide for the greatest maintenance of our tools, or bodies and ensure we are providing it, all the essentials it requires to function at maximum optimization or homeostasis.

This mean, in addition to a GREAT Nutritional lifestyle {see Introduction to Nutrition} we must also give our bodies that exercise, the movement, the ACTion & the rest, they require.

YES!, Rest. Believe it or not, YOUr body benefits MORE when given a day or relaxation, than when we pile on the exercises. It is when we are resting that our body’s are rebuilding, growing in strength, having the opportunity to take all the good exercise and physical activity you have given it, and put it to healthy revitalized BEingness.
Only when you rest, do your muscles rebuild the tissues torn through muscle conditioning or lifting weights, and thus our muscles become more defined, and grow.

On the same wave of thinking, if you have not done any exercise, there is nothing for your body to use to rebuild, revitalize, and refresh it self and thus YOU with.

We MUST give our bodies what they need to do what they need to do, best!

Exercise routines by the way, are NOT the only way to go, when it comes to BEing physical.
There are many avenues by which one may condition their physical vessels and never lift a weight or attend a cardio class at the gym.

Just getting out, going for a walk, gardening, cleaning the house, grocery shopping, BEing ACTive, IS physical and thus YOU ARE using and conditioning your vessel.

Of course, as with vitamins and minerals, we tend not to get enough of what our body’s need, {see Introduction to Nutrition}, in our daily lives, and thus setting aside Special Time to Exercise, becomes a guaranteed way by which we may ensure we are DOing ALL we can to give our body’s all they need, that we may live a long, happy and healthy life, and Fulfill our Destiny!!
